If you are contacted by the police and asked to attend the police station to be questioned, you can call us direct so that we can assist you throughout the process on 01244 722 776.

If you have already been questioned without a solicitor but are required to go back to the police station at a later date, we can still help you.

For those arrested and taken to the police station unexpectedly, will be offered the services of a solicitor when they arrive at the police station. You have the right to use a solicitor of your choice and can ask the police to contact Peter Haney for you.

We can also sometimes assist when asked to do so by friends or family of someone who has been unexpectedly arrested and taken to the police station.

Legal advice at the police station is FREE and covered by Legal Aid for all circumstances.

We work with law firms who hold Criminal Legal Aid contracts. We are therefore able to represent you on a publicly funded basis (‘Legal Aid’) if you qualify. This means that legal representation may be provided at no cost to you or provided subject to a contribution from you.

We can advise you and provide information about Legal Aid eligibility although it can also be found on the Legal Aid Agency’s website.
